From Ice to Instinct: The Story of Our Mascot
For years, there was a bear.
Not just any bear—but a melting one.
He stood quietly in the warmth of a changing world, his edges softening like ice cream under a relentless sun. Students who joined our programs came to know him well. He wasn’t loud, but he didn’t need to be. His message was clear: the planet is warming, and even the strongest among us are not immune.
He became a symbol of awareness. Of vulnerability. Of a world slipping, slowly but surely, out of balance.
But the world did not stop changing.
The ice continued to retreat. Oceans rose. Forests burned. Ecosystems blurred and boundaries dissolved. The bear could no longer remain as he was.
So he changed.
From the melting edges of his old self emerged something new—something unexpected.
The Bear Shark.
A creature of land and sea. Fur and fin. Strength and adaptation.
No longer confined to a single habitat, the Bear Shark moves between worlds—across melting ice, rising tides, and uncertain futures. It is not just a symbol of loss, but of transformation. Of resilience. Of what it means to survive in a rapidly changing climate.
Two apex predators combined into one, not by choice, but by necessity.
Because the reality is this: the challenges we face today demand more than awareness. They demand evolution.
And so, our mascot evolves with us.
The Bear Shark is a reminder that sustainability is no longer just about preserving what was—it’s about reimagining what can be. It challenges us to think differently, act boldly, and adapt together.
Because the future will belong not to those who resist change…
…but to those who transform with it.
